Directions

The festival site shares a postcode with a neighbouring village, and Sat Nav will send you in completely the wrong direction. Keep your journey quick and simple and help us keep our neighbours happy by following the directed route and signs.

From the South - on the A354 look for brown heritage/flower signs for Larmer Tree Gardens which start 13 miles SW of Salisbury and 9 miles NE of Blandford.

From London, West and the North - from the A303 take the A350 to Shaftesbury then A30 towards Salisbury. After approximately 3 miles (on reaching Ludwell) turn right at the signs for Larmer Tree Gardens and then follow brown heritage/flower signs for 5 miles.

Public Transport

The nearest train station is Salisbury (BR enquiries 08457 484950 or www.nationalrail.co.uk), and there’s a very limited bus service to within 2 miles of the Larmer Tree site.

Please call Wilts and Dorset Buses on 01722 336855 or click here for a timetable (No 184). Salisbury Bus Station is a 10-15 minute walk into town from the train station. Ask the bus driver to drop you at the 'Thickthorne Crossroads' stop and walk from there (approx 2-3 miles), following the 'Larmer Tree' brown flower signs.

Despite reports that it's easy to hitch from the crossroads, we have to advise against accepting lifts from strangers.

The taxi pick-up point is located at the festival box office where there is a turnaround point near to the entrance gates.  Please be aware that a call out fee may be charged.  A one-way fare from Salisbury is usually approximately £40.  Local taxi companies include:
