Relax, we have it all in hand...

Security

Our professional security company will be on duty 24 hours a day making sure you are looked after in the best possible way.  If you have a problem please go to the 24 hour Security HQ next to the Main Entrance to the festival.

We have experienced thefts at the festival in previous years, so please also help to keep the festival secure and protect yourself by heeding the following advice:

  • Don’t leave valuables unattended in your tent and ensure that you safeguard your property when in your tent.
  • Don’t bring large amounts of cash, there will be a cash machine on site from Wednesday.
  • Don’t leave anything valuable in your car and leave your glove compartment empty and open.
  • If you're camping please read and follow the Campsite Code given to you on arrival.
  • Take advantage of the secure Larmer Lock-Up; run by the experienced team from Birmingham Friends of the Earth, it’s open 24 hrs a day.  Use the Lock-up to store your car keys, camera, wallet, bicycle or anything of value to you! They will also be offering a mobile phone charging service.

Families

Families flock to Larmer Tree Festival for its small, intimate and safe culture.  The gardens are the perfect place for the kids to romp around.

Parents will be offered a wristband for their children on arrival on which they can write their mobile phone number.  There will be a dedicated team staffing the Missing & Found Children’s Tent throughout the festival and our award-winning toilets and hot showers are always especially appreciated by families.  There is a seperate Family Camping area in the Tent field and there is also a tent for baby changing in the Children’s Area.

Please be aware that child and youth tickets may only be purchased with accompanying adult tickets.  Youth tickets are limited to two per adult ticket, to ensure that all youths are adequately supervised at the festival.  All children and youths at the festival are the responsibility of their accompanying parent/guardian at all times.  Please make sure they respect the gardens and resist the temptation to climb the trees!  We have a varied programme of activities for everyone at the festival all included in the ticket price, please go to our What Else? pages for more details.

Info Tent

The answers to all your queries can be found here, together with programmes, a large festival map, notice board and lost property. You can also leave your comments and suggestions here and get the latest information on the running order.  Info is open until 11pm each day and is located in the Village.

Medical Services

There will be a team of paramedics and first aiders on site for the duration of the festival, they will be located just outside the Village gate, however they do not keep prescription medication so you should bring your own supply for the festival.

Access Around the Site

The festival is located in the beautiful lush Larmer Tree Gardens much of which is lawned with some gravel paths between the different areas. The main entrance and campsites are situated in fields adjacent to the gardens and therefore access can be difficult in bad weather for those with limited mobility or using pushchairs.  There is no vehicle movement allowed on the Tent Campsite and cars must be parked in the designated parking areas.

People with Disabilities

There are limited numbers of discounted tickets for people with disabilities and their carers for the 2012 festival, please see below for info on booking tickets and booking a spot in the Disabled Campsite and Car Park.

On site our stewards will do all they can to help you enjoy the festival.  There are wheelchair/easy access toilets available in both the festival site and disabled campsite. While we discourage non-disabled customers from using these facilities, they are not locked or staffed. There will be a viewing platform on the Main Lawn for wheelchair users and people who need to use a chair.  As chairs are not normally allowed on Wednesday 11th July due to lack of space and health and safety regulations, you do need to let us know if you are bringing one on this day.

The dedicated camping and parking area is available to those who book a place in advance.  However camping and parking places are limited, so please contact us to let us know about your needs, check on facilities and request a space.

For all queries or to buy tickets please contact the festival office on 01725 552300 or e-mail Tamsin Shearn at tamsin@larmertreefestival.co.uk
