Location...
Where is the festival located, and how can you get there?
The festival is held at the Larmer Tree Gardens, on the Wiltshire/Dorset border, just off the A354 between Salisbury and Blandford, OS Ref ST940170.
Directions
From the South - on the A354 look for brown heritage/flower signs for Larmer Tree Gardens which start 13 miles SW of Salisbury and 9 miles NE of Blandford.
From London, West and the North - from the A303 take the A350 to Shaftesbury then A30 towards Salisbury. After approximately 3 miles (on reaching Ludwell) turn right at the signs for Larmer Tree Gardens and continue to follow brown heritage/flower signs.
Sat Nav
The festival site shares a postcode with a neighbouring village, and Sat Nav will send you in completely the wrong direction. Keep your journey quick and simple and help us keep our neighbours happy by following the directed route and signs.
Public Transport
The nearest train station is Salisbury (BR enquiries 08457 484950 or www.nationalrail.co.uk), and there’s a very limited bus service to within 2 miles of the Larmer Tree site.
Please call Wilts and Dorset Buses on 01722 336855 or click here for a timetable (No 184). Salisbury Bus Station is a 10-15 minute walk into town from the train station. Ask the bus driver to drop you at the 'Thickthorne Crossroads' stop and walk from there (approx 2-3 miles), following the 'Larmer Tree' signs.
Despite reports that it's easy to hitch from the crossroads, we have to advise against accepting lifts from strangers.

Lift Sharing
If you are driving to the festival or looking for a lift, why not register at www.liftshare.com or www.freewheelers.com and make a friend before you even get to the festival! Sharing transport, and costs, will help the environment and reduce the number of cars on site. Look on our Green Larmer Tree page for other ways to go green at the festival this year.
Parking
Parking (and all camping for caravans, campervans and tents) is free and it's not more than a five/ten minute walk to the festival entrance. Please try to keep the number of vehicles you bring to the festival to a minimum and help to reduce the impact of the festival on the environment and local communities.
There are allocated parking areas for those who are camping - for everyone's safety we do not allow cars to unload or stop in roadways or to be parked next to tents. There will be a shuttle service available again to help transport you and your belongings from the caravan and campervan field to the main festival entrance. Cars towing caravans/trailer tents can be parked alongside them in the caravan/camper field. For more info about camping please see our Camping Info page.
