Come and create a huge aboriginal Sea Turtle to swim with us around the Festival! Celebrate the culture of Tonga by designing your own sun-kissed sarong. Dream up a colourful head dress and a flowery Lei from Samoa and make yourself a Lali Drum from Fiji to beat a rhythm in the procession. Join our tropical team and come to the carnival tent to create the most colourful costume you can imagine!
Sunday’s Sun Day!
with Jan and Alex (adults’ group)
Guarantee the sunshine by creating it! Travel with us to South America as their winter solstice passes and celebrations for the sun and the start of summer begin. Welcome the coming of this glorious season with gorgeous golden headdresses and scintillating sinuous structures based on the fascinating Nazca lines carved in the desert plains of Peru.
